A great beginning.
A few careful checks make choosing your new interiors much simpler. Start with what you’re ordering, then match the right dimensions to your shape.
First, choose
what’s inside.
Foam core
Enter the dimensions of the bare foam core you want supplied. Dacron and stockinette are finishes outside that core. Do not enter an outer wrapped size as a core size.
Fibre or foam + fibre
Enter the cover dimensions you want to fill. An inner casing is included. Do not add an oversizing allowance yourself: the dimensions are your ordering specification.
If old foam is misshapen, don’t assume its collapsed size is the size you need. Compare it with the cover and the space it must fit before choosing replacement core dimensions.
A few simple
checks first.
- Find the opening. Check that you can remove the existing interior through a working zip or another suitable opening.
- Check the cover. Look for sound seams and fabric. A shaped, domed or compartmented cover may need a different construction from a simple flat cushion.
- Lay it flat. For cover measurements, remove the old filling where possible. Measure seam to seam, gently smoothing the fabric without stretching it.
- Use consistent units. Choose centimetres or inches. For inches, enter decimals—for example, 10.5 rather than 10½. The unit switch converts your existing measurements.

For L and T shapes, compare the orientation and every D/E measurement with the configurator drawing. Use Mirror shape when you need the opposite orientation.

- Confirm whether you are ordering foam-core or cover dimensions.
- Check width, depth and thickness separately; don’t assume all cushions on a sofa match.
- Check any cut-outs, shoulders and mirrored orientation against the drawing.
- Confirm filling, firmness or fullness, finishing and quantity.
- Review the saved dimensions before checkout. Edit any piece to reload its choices.
Don’t guess at a shape that doesn’t match the available templates, or substitute a rectangle for a more complex cushion. Check the construction and measurements before ordering.
